We are very pleased to announce that Rob Carr has been awarded the contract to deliver the Design and Construction of the Quinns Main Sewer Extension for the Water Corporation in Western Australia.
The Rob Carr team is very much looking forward to working closely with its design partner SMEC and its client Water Corporation WA, to deliver this iconic and important wastewater infrastructure.
The project involves the installation of 1,931m of DN1800 sewer main (1,167m via microtunneling), 6m deep and 25m deep vortex chambers and 6 other sewer manholes. The Quinns Main Sewer, will allow conveyance of wastewater flows from Ellenbrook (Barrambie Way), Jandabup and Neerabup (Wanneroo Road) main pump stations into the Alkimos WWTP as the existing wastewater conveyance infrastructure, does not have sufficient capacity in the long term.
